Duqm Seashore Cliff
A popular hiking trail along the shoreline. The trek can be a little challenging for first-timers but is worth the effort and offers beautiful sweeping views of the sea and the rough rockface dotting the shoreline.

Ras Madrakah Beach
Ras Madrakah is one of the most popular beaches in Al Wusta, famous for fishing, surfing and camping. It is characterised by rock formations and is ideal for picnics.

Al Wusta Wildlife Reserve
Spread over 2,824sq km, the sanctuary is home to the Arabian Oryx and a breeding site for the endangered houbara bustard. Other species found here include the Arabian deer, Nubian Ibex, Arabian wolf, the lynx, the striped hyena, the wildcat, honey badger, and the Spotted Flycatcher.

Sugar Dunes - Al Khaluf
This tourist attraction is located near the fishing village of Al Khaluf. The dunes are named after their white colour. This is a great place to camp or visit to just enjoy the view of the sea.

Humrat Cave - Al Khaluf
This cave is on the same route as the Sugar Dunes. A trek through the cave ends in a picturesque opening to the beach. Carved into the rockface by the elements, the cave is a great place to cool down after time on the beach.

Bar Al Hikmann
With shallow lagoons, mudflats and coral reefs teeming with marine life, this is a bird watcher’s paradise where several migratory species from as far as Siberia come to nest or stop while on their seasonal migration. It is also a popular spot for kiteboarding and camping.
